PULUKKA PATTAI

ulukka Pattai — also called Poosanthu Pattai in Tamil folk medicine — is the bark of Feronia limonia, commonly known as the Wood Apple tree. Traditionally used for chronic diarrhea, dysentery, intestinal infections, and bleeding gums, this herb is prized for its bitter, cooling, and healing properties.

🌿 How to Use:

Internal:

– Use decoction as a mouth rinse for gum bleeding, mouth ulcers, and bad breath.

External:

– Grind and apply as a paste on wounds, boils, or ulcers.
